Mike Hartley will be returning this year to US GT after finishing 3rd overall in the 2011 GT-1 Championship with his Dodge Viper Competition Coupe. This year with the new class structure he will be running the unlimited GT-U class and searching for nothing less than 1st place.
Along with Mike Hartley, Rich Startare will be joining the RH Motorsports team in his RH Motorsports prepped Dodge Viper GTS and race in the Whelen USTTC Championship. Richie is a true product of the NARRA racing development structure. Having started out in the USPDE class and working his way up to now contest for the USTTC Championship.
Although missing the first race of the season at INDE Motorsports Ranch, the crew lead by veteran crew chief Joe Kallas and Lead Mechanic/Data Specialist Chris Barr, has been hard at work during the winter off season to get both cars prepped and ready. Owner and Driver Mike Hartley said, “We are excited to come back and contest a full season with NARRA and make a run at two Championships. With manufacturers ranging from Corvette, Porsche, Ford, and many more it will be no means a walk in the park.”
